Parts of Speech
NOUN refers to the name of things, people, places, events, and ideas (Michael, London, Birthday, Oven, Success)
VERB is an action word indicating a state or condition (dancing, singing, etc.)
PRONOUN takes the place of a noun in a sentence, typically to avoid redundancy (he, she, it, they)
ADVERB modifies a verb, adjective, or a noun (quickly, really)
ADJECTIVE is a describing word, it usually describe a noun or pronoun (She dances gracefully)
PREPOSITION used to link nouns, pronouns, or noun phrases in a sentence (at, on, in)
CONJUNCTION connect words, phrases, or clauses (FANBOYS, for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so)
INTERJECTIONS are feeling words. These are words that describes feelings, these usually can stand alone. (Oh! Ouch! Wow!)
